NATURAL TRANSITION

Decades of neglect, overgrown scrub, stagnant bogs, running surface water, contamination by old farming detritus. ...

.... developed into a natural area, enhancing the existing bog areas by creating a natural pool and a new wildlife pond, an area of woodland planting and naturalistic planting throughout.  We incorporated wide paths for access from a light commercial and parking areas, across the previous scrubland and over to the property.  Created in 2020, the planting will be allowed to self-seed freely, softening the whole effect.  

I have been consulting for these wonderful Clients since 2016 as they embark on a long term restoration of both the property and its grounds.  We now have a concept plan for the entire site, to be implemented in stages, and once building work has been completed, in future years the design will transition into a formal garden and courtyard.  Watch this space!
